CGT50 VTOL

CGT50 VTOL Unmanned Aerial Vehicle

CGT50-VTOL is a 4.71 m wingspan T-Tail UAV, using electric motors for VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing), not requiring a runway or catapult. It has a composite airframe with 5 kg payload capacity, powered by a petrol engine, and a 6-hour endurance due to low fuel consumption.

It can take off from a table and land on a 5x5 m surface with high accuracy.

With 55 kg MTOW (Maximum Take-Off Weight) including payload, it can be operated by two people, and uses A-techSYN's "AvionicsMini Flight Control System" for fully autonomous flight missions.

CGT50-VTOL Communication Systems

CGT50-VTOL has communication systems for C2 (datalink) and Gimbal/Payload/FPV camera systems (videolink).

Datalink broadcasts on 900-922 or 869 MHz, while videolink broadcasts on the 2.4 GHz band with up to 10Mbs bandwidth. Both links are 128-bit SSL encrypted.

Communication systems are independent and replaceable.

Standard datalink range is 80 km LOS (Line of Sight).

Control via satellite modem is possible for worldwide operation, with range dependent on endurance and flight speed.

  • Material: Composite
  • Take-off/Landing: Vertical (SLT)
  • Wingspan: 4.71 m
  • Length: 3.05 m
  • MTOW: 55 kg
  • Payload: 5 kg

CGT50-SLT Engine and Power

CGT50-SLT uses a petrol engine with an electronic fuel injection system (EFI).

It can fly up to 18,000 ft. density MSL, consumes an average of 1.2 lt/h fuel, and has an 18 lt fuel capacity.

A 350-Watt generator provides power for the UAV system and an extra 200W for payloads and equipment.

A backup battery can power the system for 45 minutes, allowing for a safe return and landing in case of generator or engine failure.

  • Endurance: 6 hours
  • C2 Range: 80-200 km
  • Max. Altitude: 18.000 ft MSL (Density)
  • Max. Speed: 58 knots
  • Cruise Speed: 48 knots

AvionicsMini Flight Control System

The "AvionicsMini Flight Control System" is a double redundant flight controller with state-of-the-art technology and built-in safety features.

It integrates power management, flight control, and connector interfaces for all necessary avionic components (servos, EFI module, communication links, GPS antennas, pitot tubes, etc.) into a single unit, simplifying maintenance and failure detection.

  • Flight Controller: AvionicsMini
  • Redundancy: Redundant
  • Autonomy: Fully Autonomated
